Closed QID 52.60.
It will likely move lower but didn't want to sit through a 5 min chart accumulation phase.
The 15 HR.MA has been tested as support at 42.69.
The Hourly Chart is becoming oversold so not going to push it to the short side.
QQQQ could bounce here before long as I suspect that the 25 DMA will be violated as resistance at EoD..

QQQQ is continuing it's decent to the 25 HR.MA at 42.35( & rising). By then it should be sufficiently oversold for a bounce and a new accumulation phase on the Hourly Chart, IMO.

john, I don't think so. VIX Daily Chart is in a distribution phase or a Negative half cycle.
This will weaken the positive side of the Hourly Chart cycles.
So I would expect that the VIX Hourly Chart will likely bounce down from it's 25 HR.MA and confirm it as resistance.

VIX confirmed it's 25 HR.MA as resistance and COMP confirmed it's 25 HR.MA as support as CST indicated yesterday.

I suspect VIX heads lower and the markets rise.
COMP has confirmed the 50 DMA as support for now.
VIX tested the 50 DMA as resistance and confirmed it.
What strikes me as the most bullish indication is the new accumulation phase that is beginning on the COMP Weekly Chart.
It can not be confirmed until EoW but it has met all other technical criteria.
This should create a synergy to the upside, IMO.

COMP is working out support/resistance issue at the 25 DMA.
If tested, the 25 HR.MA will be critical support at 2302 (& rising)

I don't think this is over yet. I'm expecting the COMP to bounce up off of the 10,15 or 25 DMA.
At the close the Hourly Chart was oversold and resting dead on the 50 HR.MA as support.
A close for the COMP at EoW above 2280 will confirm a new accumulation phase on the Weekly Chart.
